When I was a child, I am a very picky eater. I didn't like to eat not only meat like pork, beef, mutton, but also some vegetables such onion, garlic, parsley. My eating habit was changed when I growed up, and I accepted some of food I didn't like before unconsciously. Some experiences I tried new food were never forgot. I can still remember how afraid I was when I first tried to eat shrimp, I could even not dare to pull the shells of shrimp. When my mom put the shrimp which was pulled the shells by her into my mouth, I felt the shrimp was moving in my mouth, the feeling was strange. However, now, shrimp is my favorite food.
When talk about the strangest food, for me, is definite the scallop. The first time I ate it is in my cousin's restaurant, where only services seafood. Actually, I don't like seafood but my families love it. When my father said "we want the medium scallop", I just keep silent because I thought I would not eat it, but in order not to let my parents down, I tried a litter mouth of it, guess what? I threw it up immediately and felt very uncomfortable. From that moment, I decided it was my first and last time to taste scallop. Maybe not because the scallop per se made me disgusting but because it was not well down, anyway, I will no longer try it!
I don't really like seafood either. I usually avoid eating it if I have a choice!
